Heinz Lofts has
made special arrangements for residents to participate in the
Friends of the Riverfront Community Bike Loan Program free of
charge.
Through this program bikes are available to adults over the age of
18 who wish to enjoy the Three Rivers Heritage Trail system.
Contact the Lofts property manager at to obtain a swipe card. The
card will allow you to access a bike locker and the bike
inside.
The community Bike program has two locations on the Three Rivers
Heritage Trail system. The first site is conveniently located at
the North Shore Trail segment along River Avenue adjacent to the
Heinz Lofts Apartments.Another site is along the newly dedicated
South Side 10-1 Trail head facility off of 4th Street.
Bikes may be used anytime during daylight hours and should be
returned to the original locker you removed it from 30 minutes
before dusk. The Program`s Blue Bikes are not designed or equipped
for on-road/off-road use or use after dusk.
